In the 1920s, Graycor’s predecessor, the Chicago Concrete Breaking Company, began providing specialty contracting services throughout Chicagoland. Over the next 100 years, Graycor grew into a group of companies that now include Graycor Construction Company, Graycor Industrial Constructors, Graycor Southern Inc. and Graycor International. These companies now complete hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue for industrial and commercial construction and maintenance projects across the U.S.

Chicago was chosen for Graycor’s headquarters because it reflects the company’s deep Midwestern roots and provides a key transportation hub to and from project sites, which can be anywhere in the country. Located just outside of Chicago in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, Graycor’s corporate office offers direct access to project sites via major highways, airports and rail systems, while world-class dining, arts and sporting events make the area an ideal destination for business and recreational activities.
