Project Scope

Graycor Construction Company and its joint venture partner Del Amo Construction provided construction services for PCSD Avalon for the 32,000-square-foot conversion of an industrial building in Los Angeles into a two-story middle school. The building provides 24 classrooms, 2 science labs, administrative offices and a multi-purpose room. The project also includes a new roof, skylights, mechanical systems and lighting.

Site work includes a new asphalt parking and play area, landscaping, basketball court, lunch shelter, bike racks/lockers and new B Permit driveway work.
