Project Scope

Graycor Industrial was contracted to construct an enclosed 138kv-13.8V substation – housing for an electrical transmission and distribution center – in downtown Louisville.

Building the new substation called for demolition of the previous facility, located on the future site of a multi-purpose arena. The project included site work, CIP concrete structure, PVC roofing, interior masonry, HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
