Project Scope

Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. awarded Graycor Industrial an environmental controls retrofit project near Clifton Hill, located in northern Missouri. The fast-track project consisted of installing two air heaters and two selective catalytic reduction (SCR) units, demolishing and rebuilding an existing electrostatic precipitator, and performing associated ductwork, structural steel and insulation and jacketing.

Project included installation of the following:

2 SCR units
2 Alstom air heaters
2 Southern Environmental electrostatic precipitators (post-demolition and rebuild) from top of hoppers
Ductwork and turning vanes
Structural steel
Insulation and jacketing
Bachman bypass ductwork with diverter dampers
4 Ammonia storage tanks
2 Catalyst storage buildings
2 Elevators
Reinforcement of existing ductwork support steel
Air duct steam coils
100+ expansion joints
